Our room

Our room was on the lower floor. It was small but cute, clean, and comfortable. We really only used it for sleeping, personal maintenance, and storing our stuff.

Everything was slightly damp with all the humidity in the air, from our bedsheets to the little sugar packets for our coffee. We got used to that quickly, though.

The bathtub was a squarish tiled basin with a shower head. There was a little partition at one end between the tub and toilet that kept the toilet and fresh towels from getting wet when using the shower. There was no door or curtain, though, so the rest of the bathroom would get soaked when you took a shower even if you were very careful. It helped to take short showers, which the resort asked you to do anyway to conserve water.
